Movie Review - Avatar: The Way of Water

At the end of 2022 I won a free ticket from XXI Premier Plaza Senayan to watch the film Avatar: The Way of Water. After a long wait (13 years), this film is able to cure the longing of Avatar (2009) film lovers.

The overall visual shown is very "blue", the choice of background music is very appropriate, and there will be several new characters appearing in this second film. Due to the move of the Sulley family from the Omaticaya Clan to Metkayina (a coral reef island whose clan and lifestyle is adapted to Pandora's aquatic habitat), the audience will be presented with a lot of ocean views from the Metkayina Clan.

Still with a similar storyline, Jake Sulley and Neytiri try to protect their family from the attack by the RDA group. In this film, the Sulley family fights together with the Metkayina Clan. There are many significant differences that are felt in this film: from the transition from the forest to the sea to the changes in the animals that are driven from Toruk to Ilu.

However, the duration of this film is quite long, which is approximately 3 hours and 12 minutes. So for those of you who want to watch it, you should choose in a cinema that is as comfortable as possible because there is a high potential for you to feel bored and have back and neck pain.

Overall this film is very good but because of the long duration and too many scenes under the sea, it is likely that boredom will appear in the middle of the film.

Title: Avatar: The Way of Water

Director: James Cameron

Genre: Sci-fi/Action

Duration: 3 hours 12 Minutes

Cast: Sam Worthington, Zoe SaldaƱa, Sigourney Weaver, Trinity Bliss, Jamie Flatters, Britain Dalton, Jack Champion, etc

Rate: 8/10

For those of you who have been waiting for the second film from the Avatar film, your wait will not be in vain because James Cameron presents a film that is no less sensational than the first Avatar film. Enjoy watching!

Product Review: Tong Tji Tematik varian Matcha Latte

Masih dalam rangka mengganti kopi jadi greentea, pencarian matcha instan masih terus dilakukan agar terbentuknya list greentea/matcha favorit based on my opinion. *cailah* Next product that I'll review is Tong Tji Tematik varian Matcha Latte. But this one won't be on my list. Udah coba w sajikan hangat, dingin, dan di tambah espresso, but it still same. It didn't suit my taste. And that's not kind of matcha th...

Product review: Matchamu varian Matcha Latte

Lalu tahun lalu, I found it! Sampai sek...

December, 2020

It's finally December, the end of 2020! Many things are happened in my life during 2020: being a freelancer in a new field, corona (all plans that are canceled because of it, spending time with family in isolation, living a new normal life), learning new skills (copywriting and digital marketing), meeting friends I haven't seen in a long time,  getting new friends, falling in love and being heartbroken, rejection from various opportunities, trying to get closer to god and being grateful, etc.  I've had a lot of lessons this year, especially life lessons. Not all of our wishes can be realized directly, or not even realized at all. Always enjoy the process, and don't forget to be grateful and keep thinking positively especially when the storm comes your way. The emotional turmoil that caused my blood, sweat and tears to come out made me realize that I'm just an ordinary human being who can't always be strong and tough when a lot of distractions are given to me ( e...
